The Green Room was a collaboration between Fern Thomas and Owen Griffiths with Isabel Griffin for Trust New Art, Tyntesfield. It was part of ‘Paradise’ an exhibition curated by Ruth Gooding in 2014 with works by Assemble, London Fieldworks, Nina Saunders and Insa Winkler.

The Green Room created a raised platform within an historic yew hedge in the grounds of Tyntesfield. The structure, table and benches were created using felled wood from the site in collaboration with the natural woodworkers based at Tyntesfield. The platform was an outdoor pedagogic site facilitating workshops and talks including an Earth Forum by Professor Shelley Sacks and a fermentation workshop by artist Katherine Ball.
