Fragment, video, 2011
Speaking about her relationship with her parent’s garden and what she had recently discovered there, Thomas tells of unearthing in the garden of her childhood a small white ceramic fragment. Believing it to be a post-apocalyptic fragment, having survived a significant event, she wonders what new capacities it now holds. This video formed part of a body of work including drawing and live action.
