Fragment | Lion | Bell from the Institute for Imagined Futures & Unknown Lands, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, 2012

A shifting space that was activated by interventions, live actions and spoken word, offering a space to enter the world of Imagined Futures & Unknown Lands.

This work acted as ‘part two’ of the project  When the moon fell out of orbit where many of the materials and key tools were utilised but also re-shaped or re-made for this new context /site.

A new focus within this work came from an obsession with ‘the lion of knidos’ at the British Museum which manifested in the space through lion imagery.

Direct responses to the space were made and a performative re-telling of the space was held within the space.
